All financial issues arising from pre-authorizations or from payment made at the hotel are between the hotel and the guest directly.

    A pre-authorization is a block on your card, usually for the amount of the first night of stay, including taxes and other hotel service charges to guarantee your hotel booking. This is standard procedure in the hotel industry and ensures that the hotel can obtain the funds in case of a no-show, in accordance with the cancellation policy that applies. The pre-authorization is not a charge and will be released once the hotel has made the final charge upon check-in or check-out.   • I have cancelled my booking - when do I get the refund?

  • If you made a prepayment at the time of booking, and you have cancelled your booking within the terms and conditions stipulated in the cancellation policy, your refund will be processed automatically upon cancellation. This is an automated process and will be initiated the moment you have confirmed your cancellation.

    From that moment on it may take anywhere from 3 to 10 working days for your refund to appear on your credit card statement. The time this takes is dependent on various factors, including your bank’s/credit card issuer’s processing time.

    If you have received a notification about an invalid credit card, the hotel was unsuccessful while trying to pre-authorize your credit card. In this case you are requested and required to contact the hotel directly (contact details of the hotel you have booked can be found in the email you have received) to provide them with alternative payment details.

    Should you fail to contact the hotel within the requested period of time (30 hours after receiving the notification of an invalid credit card) the hotel reserves the right to:

    - cancel your booking; in this case your booking will be cancelled by the hotel and you will receive a notification of cancellation.

    - keep your booking and try to pre-authorize your card at a later time. Please note that all terms and conditions regarding this booking will not change (including the cancellation policy).

  • How does the "Best Price Guarantee" work?

  • Never pay too much for your booking: we guarantee the best rate available online! If the room of the hotel you booked is available online at a lower rate, contact us within 24 hours after making your booking and we will match the price.

    We need the following information to process your request:
    • - Personal information: your full name is required
    • - Your Easytobook.com booking number
    • - The website address where the lower rate is offered
    • - Please note that incomplete emails will be rejected.
    Please take into account the below conditions when you want to make a claim in order to be compensated for your booking:
    • - The lower rate must be validated by Easytobook.com within 24 hours of making your booking
    • - The lower rate must be offered by another travel website
    • - The lower rate must be in the same currency as the currency of your Easytobook.com booking
    • - The lower rate must be for a booking on the same dates
    • - The Guarantee can only apply if the booking conditions of the other website are the same as the conditions of your Easytobook.com booking
    • - The Guarantee can only apply to fully completed Easytobook.com bookings; cancellations or no-shows will not be compensated
    • - Any claim will have to be checked and confirmed by an Easytobook.com employee
    • - If the above conditions are not met, the original Terms & Conditions of the booking apply, including the Cancellation Policy.
    Easytobook.com cannot apply the guarantee if:
    • - the booking is not for the same room type in the same hotel
    • - the booking is for the same day as the Guarantee request is submitted
    • - the booking is part of a special offer, Hot Deal, advanced or last-minute deal, or other program types that work with rewards in some form.
